MUBI KALAKAAR International Photography Contest 2015

Kalakaar is an annual international photography contest conducted by Vibha. It is free to participate, open to all ages and offers exciting prizes. Every photo you snap, send and share makes a difference.

This photography contest runs from March 15 to April 15, 2015. The contest results will be declared at the end of May 2015. This year's contest is brought to you by Mubi.

First 3,500 participants get free 30-day VIP codes to watch movies on Mubi.

By participating in Kalakaar, you are supporting Vibha's cause - education and health care for underprivileged children. Please share the contest and your submissions on social media, use #VibhaKalakaar and link vibha.org in your posts. Explore Vibha, the cause that drives our organization and read about the projects we support.

All winning entries will be showcased on Kalakaar and Vibha websites and social media sites.

All winners will be awarded high-quality online certificates sponsored by CertLog, which are shareable on social media.

Adorama Grand prize: $850 value
Grand Prize winner gets a $500 gift card from Adorama and Mubi subscription for 10 years

Most Liked entry on our Facebook page: $450 value
Most Liked Entry winner gets a $100 cash prize and Mubi subscription for 10 years

All qualifying entries will be reduced in size and uploaded to our Facebook page by the Kalakaar Team

First prize for each theme: $450 value
First Prize winner gets a $100 cash prize and Mubi subscription for 10 years

Second prize for each theme: $350 value
Second Prize winner gets Mubi subscription for 10 years

Mubi Exceptional Photo Prizes: $35 value each
Apart from the above mentioned winners, 40 exceptional photographs will be recognized by Mubi and will be awarded one year Mubi subscription to watch great movies.

Please note that the HDR category entries will be included in the 'Most Liked' and 'Mubi Exceptional Photo' prize category, but will not be included while judging the Grand Prize. If the response to the new category is good, we will look into introducing more themes under this category and awarding a grand prize for the HDR category in the coming years.

“Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design Competition”

Department of Posts is holding a “Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design Competition”.
The theme of the competition is Women Empowerment.

2. The Terms and Conditions to participate in the competition are as follows:-

 i. Entries are invited for „Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design Competition‟. The participants are to make an original design on this subject (should not be copy of picture painted by someone else).

 ii. Any citizen of India can participate in this contest. The design could be in ink, water colour, oil colour or any other medium (computer printed/printout will not be allowed). The design submitted should be such that can be depicted on the stamps in a visually appealing manner so as to be of interest to philatelic collectors.

iii. Participants are free to use drawing paper, art paper or any other type of white paper of A4 Size.
iv. The following particulars should be written legibly on the reverse of the design:
1. Name of the participant*
2. Age*
3. Gender*
4. Nationality*
5. Full and complete residential address with Pin code
6. Phone/Mobile Number*
7. E-Mail ID (if available)
*It is compulsory to provide the information.

v. An undertaking stating that „The artwork submitted is original and no copyright issues are involved‟ should be sent along with the entry. In case of any legal dispute related to copyright issue, Department of Posts will not be liable for the same.

vi. The design should be sent without being folded, through “Speed Post” only, in A4 size envelope. The participants should mention “Independence Day 2015 – Stamp Design Contest” on the envelope in which the drawing is sent.

vii. The prize winning designs will be considered for use on stamps and other philatelic material.

The prize money will be as follows:- 
 First prize 10.000/-
 Second prize 6,000/-
 Third prize 4,000/-

viii. The entries should reach on the following address by 31.03.2015.The entries received after the last date of receipt will not be entertained.
