scholarship given for encouragement of study of Sanskrit. Applicant should be a student of a Sanskrit College or a student of Arts & Science College or of Sri Sankara University of Sanskrit, Kalady, undergoing a course with Sanskrit as the optional subject.
Applicant should have studied Sanskrit as a subject in the qualifying course, and should have passed the examination in the first chance. The annual family income of the applicant should not exceed Rs.1,00,000/-. However, a certain number of scholarships are given to meritorious students without considering the annual income of the family. Applicants should be permanently residing in Kerala.
The value of the scholarship is Rs.200/- p.m
